For the NX-410 and NX-900 transceiver, a frequency shifted by -45 MHz from the entered Receive Frequency is automatically configured for Transmit Frequency.
Talk Around allows you to configure whether a user can toggle Talk Around between On and Off.
Talk Around is convenient if the transceiver cannot communicate with a repeater if the distance between the transceiver and a repeater is too great. With this function enabled, the user can communicate directly with another transceiver without using a repeater.
If Talk Around is enabled by clicking on the Talk Around checkbox, the transceiver transmits on the same frequency as the receive frequency configured for a channel and encodes a signal using the same configuration for QT/DQT Decode or for RAN Decode.
For a Channel where Talk Around is enabled, Talk Around cannot be disabled by pressing the Talk Around key. To the contrary, for a Channel where Talk Around is not enabled, Talk Around can be toggled between On and Off by pressing the Talk Around key.
Range: Check (Enable):
Enables the Talk Around. Talk Around cannot be disabled by pressing the Talk Around key.
Disables the Talk Around. A user can toggle the Talk Around between On and Off by pressing the Talk Around key.
Default: Unchecked (Disabled)
Talk Around cannot be configured if no data is configured in the Receive Frequency edit box. If a Zone or Channel number is changed after Talk Around is enabled by pressing the Talk Around key, Talk Around will be disabled
me da flojera traducir, pero ahi esta la respuesta.
